Volunteering with Twinning

There are many opportunities to support Twinning through volunteer opportunities. St. Catharines Twinning Association runs off the generosity of volunteers and you don't have to be a paid member to volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Delta Bingo Shifts
  • Hosting visitors from Trinidad (Billeting)
  • Helping with meetings
  • Holding an Executive Position
  • Sub-committees
  • and many others

Volunteer Appreciation and Support

Volunteers with the St. Catharines Twinning Association will be invited to the annual Volunteer Appreciation Month event in April. Volunteers receive a meal and recognition for their support of Twinning.

Recognition of volunteer activities will be provided in physical format, with a digital version through Certifier Digital Credential platform. Certifier allows for volunteer efforts to be verified and shared on resumes and professional networks such as LinkedIn.

Volunteers can also request access to over 400 free professional development courses through Open World Learning (OWL). To request access please contact the Twinning Team.
