St. Catharines Twinning Association actively supports our operating pillar of education through the support various initiatives.
Ongoing Initiatives
Twinning has ongoing education initiatives that promote learning and advancement in the Niagara Region. These initiatives include:
- Sponsorship of bursaries and financial awards to both Brock University and Niagara College and
- Providing professional development opportunities for volunteers
Other Education Initiatives
Education is also incorporated into cultural events and economic development opportunities throughout the year. Many of these opportunities are accessible to the public. These include but are not limited to educational displays, guided learning sessions, working with elementary and secondary schools.
